EUFam's Project – Max Planck Institute Luxembourg hosted an International Seminar

In the framework of the European Commission-funded EUFam’s project, the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg hosted an International Seminar to discuss new developments in the field of cross-border family law on the 12h of May 2017. Eighty-two judges, practitioners, academics, EU policy makers, and state officers, from 10 different countries, participated. They are all confronted to the EU family Regulations (Brussels IIa, Rome III, Maintenance, Successions) in their daily practice and therefore fruitfully discussed difficulties met at national level and exchanged knowledge, experiences and best practices.
