Professor Edoardo Stoppioni

Edoardo Stoppioni is Professor of Public Law at the University of Strasbourg. He teaches and researches in the areas of public international law and EU law, critical theory and philosophy of law.

He holds a dual degree in law (Universiy of Florence and Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne), a Master in International Economic Law and a PhD in International Law (Sorbonne Law School). He was post-doctoral fellow at Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo) and Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Procedural Law of Luxembourg.

He is currently associate editor of the Journal of World Investment and Trade. His current research topics include discourse analysis and international adjudication as well as the application of the theories of emotions to international law.
