Clemens A. Feinäugle is Coordinator of Scientific Research and a Senior Research Fellow.
Clemens graduated from the University of Augsburg, completed his bar exam at the Higher Regional Court of Munich and obtained a Ph.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Heidelberg. Before joining the Institute, he worked in the international law unit of the legal department of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva. Before that, he held positions as a law clerk at the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. His research interests focus on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) from a European, German and comparative constitutional law perspective and on public international law (general international law, international dispute settlement, the law of international organizations (specifically the United Nations) and international trade and investment law).
