New Italian donation to the MPI Library

22 January 2016

Gian Domenico Spota generously donated a collection to The Max Planck Institute Luxembourg, enriching the Library with a wide range of books and journals. Former member of the Legal departments of the World Bank and of the European Investment Bank, Avvocato Gian Domenico Spota donated part of his library to MPI Luxembourg in October 2015.

The Max Planck Institute Luxembourg has a specific focus on international commercial and regulatory law. Avv. Spota’s collection is particularly precious in this respect: throughout his career, ranging from leading international law firms to international banking institutions, Avv. Spota gathered an impressive collection of legal literature. Subjects include Comparative law, International banking law, International arbitration and public contracts, Contracts of international institutions and Practice of international financial institutions, European law and Italian civil procedure law.

This collection will represent a great added value to our Library! The Max Planck Institute is grateful to Avv. Spota for his support and his kind donation.
