IMPRS-SDR Biannual Seminar

Doctoral candidates of the International Max Planck Research School for Successful Dispute Resolution in International Law (IMPRS-SDR) presented their research at MPI Luxembourg.

On 14-15 December 2017, the professors and students participating in the IMPRS-SDR gathered at MPI Luxembourg for their second biannual seminar. Twelve of the PhD candidates presented the status of their research projects to Prof. Burkhard Hess (MPI Luxembourg), Prof. Thomas Pfeiffer (Heidelberg University), Prof. Hélène Ruiz-Fabri (MPI Luxembourg), Judge Mark Villiger (Saarland University), Judge Allan Rosas (ECJ), Prof. Stephan Schill (University of Amsterdam), Prof. Ekkehart Reimer (Heidelberg University), Prof. Matthew Happold (University of Luxembourg) and Astrid Wiik (Heidelberg University, Coordinator IMPRS-SDR). The presentations covered a wide range of topics pertaining to international dispute settlement, both in private international law and public international law.
