Herbsttagung der MPG GSHS Bibliotheken 2016 / Autumn Meeting of the Max Planck Society (MPG) Social Sciences Libraries 2016

Our Institute has the pleasure to host the MPG GSHS Herbsttagung 2016 in Luxembourg on the 27th and 28th of October. It is a yearly meeting with long tradition of the MPG librarians of the social sciences (Geistes-, Sozial- und Humanwissenschaftlichen Sektion - GSHS). All partnering libraries from Luxembourg are also invited to attend. Besides librarians and speakers from Germany and Luxembourg, information professionals from Netherlands, USA, Canada and Singapore will participate.

The "Leitmotiv" for the conference will be "Innovation in libraries". Topics of the presentations cover the whole spectrum of innovative instruments, services and technological developments in libraries. The conference will be complemented by the companies exhibition on the 3rd floor.
