Dr. Jordi NIEVA-FENOLL. Full Professor (Chair) of Procedural Law at the University of Barcelona.

Visiting professor at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and Julius Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Germany), Università di Bologna and Università LUISS (Italy), Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France), and up to 10 Universities in Latin America.

Author of 20 books -two of them translated into italian and portuguese- with the following main topics of both civil and criminal procedure: Evidence, Res iudicata, Appeal (Cassation), Procedural Law at the CJEU, Artificial Intelligence and judicial process.

Author of over 100 articles, some of them compiled in Jurisdiction and Process (2009, 983 pages), Jurisditional Science (2016, 749 pages).

Panelist at over 100 international conferences.

Member of the Associazione Italiana fra gli Studiosi del Processo Civile (2015), International Association of Procedural Law (2011), Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Procesal (2006) and Wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für Internationales Verfahrensrecht (2005).
