Edoardo Stoppioni is a Research Fellow. He also teaches for the Faculty of Law of the University of Luxembourg (since 2017). He is finishing a Ph.D. in public international law at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He holds a dual degree in Law from the Universities of Florence and Paris 1 and a Master in Comparative Law and one in International Economic Law from Sorbonne Law School. Before joining the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg, he was a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of European and International Law of the Sorbonne Law School (from 2013 to 2016). He was also a Trainee in International Arbitration in a British Law Firm in Paris. His current research interests include legal theory, public international law, EU law and international dispute settlement.
