Edoardo Stoppioni is Ph.D. candidate in public international law at the Sorbonne Law School, where he conducts his research on the use of unwritten law in WTO dispute settlement and investment arbitration under the supervision of Prof. Hélène Ruiz Fabri.

He graduated in law from both the Sorbonne University (France) and the University of Florence (Italy). He holds a Master in Comparative Law and one in International Economic Law from Sorbonne Law School.

Before joining the institute, he worked in an international arbitration law firm in Paris and was teaching assistant at Sorbonne University, where he lectured on public international law, international economic law and French administrative law. His main research interests are general international law, investment arbitration, WTO law, and legal theory.
