Martina Mantovani studied Law at the University of Ferrara and graduated in 2015 with a dissertation in European Private International Law. Before joining the Institute, she collaborated with the University of Ferrara, by taking part to several research and teaching activities within the courses of both Public and Private International Law. At present, she is part of the team working on the European Commission Study on the Impact of National Civil Procedure.

Her main areas of research are European Procedural Law (especially the Rome and Brussels regimes) and privacy protection.
