Yin Jin studied both law and economics at Peking University in Beijing (China), where he holds Bachelor degrees in law and economics (2009), a Master degree in law (2011) and a doctor degree in law with a focus on civil law (2015). Since 2012, he is a doctoral candidate at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). He has published several papers in fields of real properties, credit card agreements, product liabilities, limitation periods and the reform of Swiss obligation law. In his Ph.D project, he focuses on the possibility to transfer the legal institution of the action raising an objection to the claim being enforced (Art. 767 of Code of Civil Procedure of Germany) into Chinese civil procedure. His main interests are the interaction between the material civil law and civil procedures, the execution law and the comparative law.
