Edouard Fromageau is a Senior Research Fellow. He also teaches for the Faculty of Law of the University of Luxembourg (since 2017) and for the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (since 2018). He obtained a dual Ph.D. in public international law (summa cum laude, Prix Bellot 2016) from the University of Geneva and Aix-Marseille University in 2014. Published by Bruylant in 2016, his thesis focuses on the institutional interactions between global administrative law and public international law. Before joining the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg, Dr Fromageau was a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Public International Law and International Organization of the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva (between January 2009 and December 2014). He was also a Visiting Researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2012, a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for International Law and Justice at the New York University (NYU) School of Law in 2015, and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Kobe in 2017. His current research interests include legal theory and legal reasoning, global and international institutional law, judicial and quasi-judicial dispute settlement.
