Visit of the President of the German Federal Constitutional Court

On 9 June 2015, the President of the German Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Andreas Voßkuhle, visited the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg. In a discussion with the Research Fellows of the Department for European and Comparative Procedural Law, President Voßkuhle answered questions on the work, role and influence of the Constitutional Court and its decisions in Germany and abroad and addressed, inter alia, the relationship of the Constitutional Court to other national and international courts (especially the CJEU) and the importance of an ongoing dialogue between judges from different jurisdictions.
