Dr. Aniruddha Rajput is a member of the United Nations International Law Commission.He served as the Chairperson of the Drafting Committee at the 69th Session in 2017. The topic proposed by him, ‘Evidence before International Courts and Tribunals’ was put by the ILC on its long term programme of work in 2017. His areas of interest are general international law, law of evidence and procedure in international adjudication, law of the sea, boundary disputes, international trade and investment law. In 2017 he was a Practitioner in Residence at KFG International Law: Rise or Decline? in Berlin, Germany. He has practised before the Supreme Court of India and currently practices international law in the capacity of Consultant, Public International Law and International Arbitration with Withers LLP.
