Dr Luc Leboeuf

Luc Leboeuf is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology.

He received his PhD in law from the University of Louvain - UCL in 2015, which was published as a monograph bearing the title Le droit européen de l’asile au défi de la confiance mutuelle (Anthémis 2016). Prior to joining the MPI in September 2017, Luc Leboeuf was a research fellow in the Law Faculty of the University of Louvain - UCL and an attorney at the Bar of the Walloon Brabant, where he mainly practised migration law. He was a visiting professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Antwerp (2017 and 2018) and at the University of Louvain -UCL (2015) in Belgium. He is a member of the editorial boards of the two major Belgian migration law journals, the Revue du droit des étrangers and the Tijdschrift voor Vreemdelingenrecht.
