New book published: « Le débat sur la fragmentation du droit international – Une analyse critique » by Anne-Charlotte Martineau

This book aims to deconstruct the debate on the so-called “fragmentation” of international law. What is the fate of public international law in light of the proliferation of specialized institutions and modes of thinking? Instead of responding to the question and entering the debate itself, Anne-Charlotte Martineau tries to assess the nature and significance of that debate. European Commission assigns a principal study on the future development of Civil Procedure in Europe to the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg

In 2016 an international consortium, under the auspices of the Max Planck Institute for Procedural Law (MPI) located in Luxembourg, will conduct a central study on the future of European procedural law for the EU Commission. The MPI prevailed in a tender open to competitors from all over Europe and in doing so, was able to bring an important externally-funded project to Luxembourg.

On November 18, 2015, Prof. Pasquale De Sena (Catholic University of Milan) explained to a questioning audience the extent to which he considers that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has recently acted as a Court of Cassation.
